SITUATION: Almost every online company knows it needs security software but understanding the ins and outs of a software system can be a challenge for those who need it most. Tavve, a leading firewall and security management company, decided to confront this challenge head-on by designing a website that would uncover the complexities of security software for its customers. Tavve also faced another unique challenge in that it could not divulge its large client base for legal reasons. Building credibility for Tavve without touting its robust repertoire of clients proved problematic.
SOLUTION: BEC knew the solution to explaining a complex, technical product had to be a visual. So, BEC worked with Clearsketch (www.clearsketch.com) to produce a professional, high-quality video on Tavve’s signature product ZoneRanger that is featured on the home page of Tavve’s website. BEC also knew that Tavve’s new website needed to be easy to follow and easy to understand for visitors. Since the main purpose of Tavve’s website is to drive product sales, navigability is especially vital.
SUCCESS: The finished product was a website that enhanced the overall image of Tavve. Using red and gray themes, BEC successfully created a site that showcased Tavve’s complex products in a simple fashion. Similarly, large images and clear descriptions of individual parts of ZoneRanger enlighten users to the world of security software.
